Why I Built InnoExport As a designer and developer, I’ve always needed an efficient way to export images from Figma, but I found existing plugins lacked the features necessary to streamline the process. Most options were either too simple, limiting control over formats and settings, or they didn’t integrate well with the broader development workflow. That’s why I built InnoExport—to fill the gap and offer something truly versatile. InnoExport was born out of frustration with the lack of key functionalities such as batch editing, custom export presets, and the ability to integrate exports with cloud services or other endpoints. Designers and developers need a tool that allows them to not only export images in multiple formats at once but also tailor those exports for specific platforms like iOS, Android, or the web—all without manual repetition. With customizable settings, naming conventions, and integrated compression, InnoExport makes this easy. What sets InnoExport apart is the ability to seamlessly integrate with other workflows—you can upload your exported images directly to any cloud service or endpoint, like an AWS S3 bucket. This allows developers to automate image management and deployment, improving collaboration between design and development teams. By focusing on both privacy (all processing is local) and efficiency, InnoExport is designed to save you time while respecting your workflow and security. I’m excited to share it with the community, and I hope it can bring real value to those who need a better way to export and manage images from Figma.
