IntroSender is a super simple tool that automates a process many of us spend too much time on: sending introduction emails between people we know.

Hey PH πŸ‘‹ Today we’re launching IntroSender - a super simple tool that automates a process many of us spend too much time on: sending introduction emails between people we know. If you send a lot of introduction emails, hopefully it can be helpful for you πŸ˜€ Read "the story" - https://medium.com/@jordangonen/... As always, thanks for the support :) Also, check out Mesh - https://www.producthunt.com/upco...

@jrdngonen looks awesome, love the idea. I'd really like to see if you could automate asking someone for an intro too - if you see Jane is connected with Eric on LinkedIn or FB, sending a message and if Jane 'accepts' she could input Eric's email and an automated message could be sent with her approval or something like that.

@garrettgreen hey garrett! Yes :) This is v2 coming soon πŸ˜€

Great idea, I just wish there were fields for 'why' you want to introduce that person, and/or a personalized blurb about them i.e. freelance growth hacker who would be great to help with your startup.

@geekgirlweb Thanks for the feedback! That definitely could be a helpful feature.

This is an engineering solution to a people problem. The hard part of writing an intro is understanding why two people should be introduced and articulating that in the form of an email.
Andreas Duess
@desmondduggan2 100% agree. You cannot automate something that needs deep thought, and human input, to be valuable. This just goes through the motions, without adding any real value.

This looks lovely and will certainly save me time. Quick question: why do you need LinkedIn profiles? Also, do you plan on using the data or monetising this?
Jordan Gonen
@nikhiljoisr Hey! We thought that adding linkedin will provide more context for the people you are introducing. Nope. Not using the data :)

Cool! A nice alternative to entro.io Feature request: automatically retrieve the LinkedIn URL (using their API) when you enter the email of the other people you're introducing
Jacob Schein
@jonbstrong Awesome idea - that's a feature we can for sure look into implementing. Thanks for sharing feedback!

In my opinion will not be used on daily or even on weekly basis, but sometimes can save a bunch of time. Good job!
