Joobee

In 2015 I lost my job and had to relocate from Montreal to Toronto. The difference between those cities was major and it was very hard to find the best places to have a good time when you don't know the city and even with my colleague's recommendations, the difference in taste caused quite an unpleasant consumer experience. I tried looking for "Best restaurants in Toronto" or "Top things to do in Toronto" online but opening 25 tabs to make one decision proved to be extremely frustrating (Analysis paralysis). Then a lightbulb lit up "What if there was an app that could easily capture all the fun stuff in any city around the world so I don't have to look too hard and feel lost?". I then decided to learn how to code in Swift and create the Joobee App. I added a feature that allows users to earn titles like Gourmet, Adventurer or Jetsetter based on their consumption experience. Gourmet - If you are an avid foodie and post more food related experience. Adventurer - For those who like to have fun (Scuba Diving, Axe Throwing, Kayaking etc.) Jetsetter - For party animals There are two additional titles: Double Dutch and Musketeer Whoever finds the meaning will get $10 or $20 respectively.
