Hey Product Hunt 👋 I have a problem. I love horror movies, but I absolutely cannot stand jumpscares 😓 In the past I had to skip over classics such as Alien or The Thing because of them. That gave me the idea to build a tool that could skip, mute, or warn you when a jumpscare is about to happen, using data from wheresthejump.com. Here are some of its features: ⏭️ Automatically skip jumpscares 🔇 Automatically mute jumpscares ⚠️ Show a warning when a jumpscare is about to happen 👻 See how many jumpscares a movie has in detail 🕒 Customize the in/out times for skips and warnings 🎚️ See whether the jumpscare is minor or major 🍿 Quick access to Netflix ⏯️ Play and pause movies through the extension The code is available on GitHub if you'd like to contribute to Jumpskip, self-host it, or build your own trigger warning extension.

Wow, I thought that for horror fans, screemers were the most interesting thing in movies. I, for example, don't like horror movies and if I understand that there are a lot of screamers in a show, I won't watch it. I like different series, and lately I've been watching them on netflix. Any genre, as long as the script is interesting and the quality of the film is high. HBO used to have great series of all kinds of genres, but now there's nothing at all. So I canceled my subscription and bought a netflix account at https://letsplitandchill.in They are developing very well now, there are a lot of new projects and there is always something interesting.
