🎯 MY STORY
What started as me building a simple todo app turned into something bigger. Now I'm here, launching a workspace that combines everything teams need. Life's funny that way.
THE DAILY STRUGGLE
We've all been there:
- "Which tab had that project update again?"
- "Wait, where did we write that down?"
- "Hold on, let me find that conversation..."
- Switching between apps is exhausting
That's what led to Kakrola.
✨ WHO IT'S FOR
Perfect if you're:
- A small team of 2-20 people
- Tired of paying for multiple tools
- Working remotely and feeling disconnected
- Ready to simplify your daily work
Think of it as your team's home.
Where tasks, notes, and conversations live together naturally.
A peek behind the curtain:
- I dove in without testing the idea (rookie move!)
- Been coding this full-time for 4 months
- Learned some hard lessons along the way
- Still learning and improving every day
🛠️ WHAT'S INSIDE
- Projects: Track work your way (boards, lists, or dashboard)
- Docs: Write and collaborate in real-time
- Chat: Keep conversations flowing
- All connected, all in one place

Here's to making work feel more natural! 🚀
@rahijamil amazing how this grew from a personal todo app into a full team workspace! Those "which tab/where was that/let me find that" moments you described are painfully relatable...Congrats on the launch!
@jan_ber Thanks Jan! 😄 You nailed it - funny how solving a personal frustration can grow into something bigger. Those tab-hunting moments were driving me crazy too! Really appreciate you getting what we're trying to fix here. Thanks for the launch wishes! 🚀

@rahijamil Hey Rahi, great work here! I've been looking for an app to replace the project management section of Notion I've been using for years now.
Does it have a way to visualise projects using a Gantt chart? Will something like this be in the works?
Thanks for the great product and good luck!
@maru_rivera1 Thanks for your interest, Maru! I'm glad to hear Kakrola could potentially replace the project management functionality in Notion.
While we don't have a Gantt chart view built in yet, it's definitely something we're planning to add in the near future.
@rupgo Hey Ruben! Great question. While we respect what Notion and ClickUp have built, we're taking a different approach. Instead of being a "jack of all trades," we're laser-focused on making the daily flow between tasks, docs, and team chats feel natural and effortless.
What makes us unique? Think of it like a well-designed home where everything has its place - no need to walk across town (or switch between 5 apps) to get things done. We've put a lot of thought into how these tools should work together, not just exist side by side.
@rahijamil awesome! i can see! love the "laser focused" approach, when markets are booming theres always room to go in depth on this flow! best of lucks with this project
@samuel_bissegger Thanks Samuel! 🙏
You just made my day! You know how it goes - the best ideas usually come from solving our own headaches. Really appreciate the support!
@nisa_meray Thanks Nisa! Remote work definitely inspired a lot of what we built here. Would love to hear how it works for your team! Let me know if you need any help getting started 💫

looks good for my team. how is it different from clickup or even trello? a video overview would be nice. is it free?
@maxcompe Hey Max! Great questions! While ClickUp and Trello are solid tools, we're going for something more seamless - imagine if your project boards, docs, and team chats were naturally connected instead of feeling like separate tools stuck together.
You're absolutely right about the video - working on a quick overview right now! As for pricing, we've got a free trial so you can properly test it with your team. After that, plans start at $8/member/month (and there's a sweet 50% off deal for early birds with code PH50OFF 😉).

Love this @rahijamil - I’m guilty of having 100+ tabs open at any one time between teams and projects😅 Kakrola looks super promising!
@dereece_t Haha, I feel you on the tab situation! 😅 I used to be the "100+ tabs and counting" person too - Chrome was basically begging for mercy at that point. That's exactly why Kakrola happened! Really cool to hear it resonates with a fellow tab hoarder.
