Hello Product Hunt Community šŸ˜, During my time pursuing my master's degree in the States, I noticed a prevalent issue among my Asian friends - dating! It seemed to overshadow even academic pursuits, career aspirations, and other priorities. Our gatherings always ended up with us lamenting about the difficulty in finding true love over a lot of soju shots. Despite the fact that 52% of Asian singles resort to dating apps in hopes of finding a meaningful connection, I realized that existing platforms fail to grasp the cultural nuances that are intrinsic to us Asians, particularly our emphasis on genuine connections and community. This realization inspired me to establish KRUSH, a platform dedicated to creating an authentic Asian community. We started throwing singles parties in New York where people could naturally connect, and the events were a blast! We came to understand that there should be more opportunities for us to gather, connect, and make meaningful connections that last! At KRUSH, we are deeply committed to fostering a trustworthy community where anyone interested in Asian culture can connect, explore events, and embrace life to the fullest.
