#1 in the App Store charts ๐Ÿ“ธ โ€” another go at the ephemeral camera app! That's the beauty of targeting a younger demographic โ€” they have no awareness of the dozens of previous attempts at this product category! ๐Ÿ˜œ

This app has the most aggressive onboarding I've ever experienced (hence why it hit the top of the App Store). After spending ~5 mins signing up, it forces you to invite 5 friends before getting access. Respect, but also kind of frustrating.

@rrhoover haha this onboarding is on another level for real. Twelve minutes in and 60 intro screens later it's still going strong. After taking a nap while the welcome feature film was playing, I woke up rested and hopeful. Then I realized it resembling a bad first date turned unusual hostage situation: impossible to get to know for the first 2 hours, only to demand I introduce all of my friends before she was willing to have a normal conversation. But yesย โ€“ย Lapse, congrats on creating the IronMan of onboarding. Respect (seriously โ—กฬˆ ) in that when someone makes it to the OtherSideโ„ข you've already gotten some built-in loyalty. I'm thankful some of my friends are endurance athletes because maybe they'll just invite me and I can start using the app. Unless all must climb the Lapse Everest in order to use it ๐Ÿ”๏ธ TBD. (Lapse, this really does look great!)

I like this concept of keeping things a bit more private.

It reminds me of the Path app back in 2010

All my friends seem to have it except me since I'm an android user. Wish products didn't pressure folks into succumbing to the apple cult </3. Looks super fun though
