Learners

Hello people of product hunt 👋! A year ago, after the start of the pandemic, Rafael and I saw a big change in the work culture, everyone going remotely, everyone getting isolated. Since growth and learning is a lot about sharing and getting feedback, we are getting more and more confronted with this problem. It’s not possible to just have a chat while having a coffee and talk about the ways to improve our skills. That is why we decided to create Learners. Learners is a social platform connecting people around the world willing to share (mentors) and receive (mentees) knowledge about interesting subjects within a manageable and friendly environment. How it works - Mentors are users with skills/tags added to their profiles, able to share their knowledge and skills - Mentees are all users with or without skills/tags, able to search mentors and to request learning sessions, which can be approved or denied by mentors - Learning sessions are given through the Learner’s virtual conference tool The community already has more than 100 mentors and mentees helping each other. Very good idea, as it has been said before. If you want to go fast, go alone, if you want to go far, go together. Mentors are key for multiple reasons and the vast knowledge that people have is a nice resource to tap into. Amazing UX/UI, as always. Great product team!

Really nice idea this. Having a mentor can make the difference between shooting up the career ladder or stagnating.
