Hi Product Hunters 👋! Our team is very excited to be here. I am an app developer with many years of experience. Alba, Head of this app, is a Product Manager. We have been using LensOCR for a couple of months, as with working from home we had many meetings, where we had to take notes from presentations in different languages. To focus on it, we needed a faster way of extracting important parts. We also needed to recognise text from printed documents quickly. And here we had the idea of creating this app, where you can easily capture the text you need. We hope it makes not only our lives easier, but also yours if you are in the same situation 😊 See what LensOCR offers: -Capture any text from an image on your Mac screen -You can use your camera to scan a document or image and the text is directly copied to your clipboard -Use the Drag and Drop option to recognise text in multiple parts of an image and put them together. -Very useful when you want to capture text from an image/document in a specific order -LensOCR comes with Standard and Advanced languages: In the Standard version, which is for MacOS Catalina, only the English alphabet is supported, but MacOS 11 Big Sur supports other major languages like French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese. The Advanced version supports more than 100 languages on any MacOS version. -Your privacy is guaranteed as everything is done on your Mac. Hi @alba_macareno, I have just downloaded and tested LensOCR on a couple of screen grabs with pretty good results. Thanks for creating and congrats on the launch… I can see myself upgrading very soon, the extra features seem pretty good. I hope that LensOCR does well.
