Hi, I'm Let.ter's developer. Thank you everyone for the nice comments! Feel free to ask any questions. I'm working on an update nowadays, which improves some issues and adds quite a few interesting features. Fast, beautiful app I've fallen in love with. Huge increase in productivity now that I can either tick through my list of important emails to send or just fire off a quick short email without being distracted by my constantly growing inbox.

This is slick. @connor shared a similar idea with me a month ago.

This is a really good idea. It's so easy to get distracted throughout the day by the inbox. I'd also like to see a Chrome extension that uses this simple interface when going to GMail.com.

so many apps built for maverick now - can't go that way just yet! looks great.

@AndyGCook Merlin Mann wrote an app that opens the compose window in gmail - just a simple script which does still work http://www.kungfugrippe.com/post... I'm sure there was one around for mac mail somewhere too. will shout if I find it.
