Looks like a great product! Keep it up! How often do you need to update your privacy policy for a typical website? And with the Ligalio annual plan, can I update the policy unlimited times during my subscription, or can I update it just once?

@rihards_g Thanks for the support! The best practice is to update your privacy policy whenever you change your processes for collecting and processing personal data. For example, if you add a contact form or analytics on your website, you must add this information to your privacy policy so that your users know what data you are collecting and using. Our annual plan allows you to update your policy unlimited times during your subscription. If your subscription ends, you keep the policy. The annual plan is best for businesses that frequently update their website. The fixed plan is great for static websites.

@ivars_pavlovich Hey! Great question. A privacy policy is a dynamic document, which means you need to update it whenever you change your processes for collecting and processing personal data. Since you, as a business owner, know best when you change your personal data practices (which can also be offline), you would have to update your policy on our platform manually. However, it would take just a few minutes of your time to make a couple of changes. Then you copy and paste HTML or TXT and add it to your website.

@husnain6660 Thanks! So far, simplicity seems to be the most important thing for the users. We are still in the MVP phase, but the product outputs a high-quality privacy policy. We are focusing on perfecting the privacy policy product first and then adding new features, e.g. additional languages, which may come out soon.

Will you provide the change for free or you'll decide based on how much changes are needed?

@veselin_kostov , thank you! We will be glad to have you as a customer! All our latest updates to the generator are available for users with an annual subscription. Our privacy policy generator has been developed following GDPR requirements. This is EU regulation and changing EU regulation is a lengthy process. Thus, GDPR would not change that quickly. But we are following closely how data protection authorities are enforcing GDPR and how EU institutions and bodies are interpreting GDPR to implement the latest practice in our software.
