In MealSnap you snap your meals and add a short description, and that's it. It will take you less than 30 seconds, promise. Most food diary apps require you to enter protein, fat, and carbs or search in the database for each meal. It just doesn't work - it's not what you want to do before family dinner. Stop counting calories and enjoy your meals!

ANDROID PLEASE I WANT THIS!!! also maybe consider optionally adding some Instagram-like filters to photos?
Petr Rusanov
@anna_0x unfortunately I’m not an android developer. But this is definitely something I’ll consider in near future
Petr Rusanov
@anna_0x it has some built in filter. And is not really instargam, it’s more your personal app, and you would probably want to share photos only with your coach or nutritionist
Anna Filou
@new_user_cbd20c72d7 it’s nice that it has a filter. I know you’re not supposed to share them with the world, that’s not what I meant. I like filters that make photos brighter and increase the contrast, it doesn’t matter if I’m the only person seeing them. I would like my food journal to look nice :) are used to use an app similar to this but because there were no built-in filters I had to take photos using another app and then add them to the food journal. As you can imagine, that meant a lot of time lost. I hope this is successful on iOS so that I may see it on android :)

@anna_0x got it :) I've used an app for this on iOS called Foodie, they have excellent filters for food photos. Will try to do something similar, but still very simple; I don't want to overcomplicate things.

@new_user_cbd20c72d7 yes, I like foodie as well! Great filters. But yeah, in my opinion you app would need a maximum of 5 filters in order to not complicate things ⭐️

Have you ever used a food diary before? Share your experience!

@new_user_cbd20c72d7 I downloaded this app for my son and it’s not what I expected. We were not prompted to answer any questions about him such as gender, height, weight, etc. The only screen we are able to see is the daily diary page. Even that doesn’t seem to be working as described. We took a picture of his snack and it did not give any information other than our small description. Am I missing something?

We believe that counting consumed and burned calories doesn't work. What do you think?
