Hey ProductHunt, Boris here, co-founder of Meritverse. We started Meritverse because professional networks today are broken. Your professional data is fragmented and lives behind different walled gardens. This doesn't serve you at all; you want to be aware of any high-quality open position that fits your skills & ambitions. Furthermore, professional networks today focus too much on 'credentialism' (or 'where' you work) instead of on your 'merit' ('what' you've done). That's why we're building Meritverse: the LinkedIn for the Metaverse. A user-owned professional network to verifiably showcase your talent and to build a network you can rely on. Initially, we focus on the most futuristic workforce out there: DAO Workers. They can create a professional profile based on their on-chain (NFTs, Poaps, Tokens, Votes...) and off-chain data (Discord, Discourse...). This way, they can show the rest of the world what they've done, while relying on 'proof of work'. When you're switching DAOs or you're introducing yourself at a Web3 party, you can show your Meritverse profile to give everyone a quick understanding of your past contributions. In the next few weeks, we want to add more data sources to build your profile with and make it easier to navigate the 'social graph' of Web3 by enabling you to browse through the different DAOs and to find out who's been contributing where. Soon you'll also be able to list your skills and vouch for the skills of others. DAOs will be able to use this dataset for recruiting new members, and you will be rewarded for helping signal the best talent out there. Everything is still early, so any feedback is super welcome! Will definitely try it out. Recently I was wondering about how community members of DAOs can proof/showcase their experience in web3 DAOs to start building a career around that. Seems like you built a solution exactly for that :)
