I love this! What a genius idea! Big fan of Tamagotchis and digital pets here. 🙋‍♂️ I'm surprised/a bit angry at myself for not thinking of adding one to my website before. How much does it cost to get a custom one? Like, if the customer sends you the design and you have to animate it.

@minymon @katherine_liu cool! I might do that at a later point. It’d be great if you’d share a rough price-range for custom Minymons on your website though. (Like, are we talking about prices around 50 € or 500 €?) Just so that visitors can quickly tell if it’s something they’d consider. Some thoughts: I noticed that the HTML snippets we need to paste in our website’s body contains the body of the FAQ. But the content of the “Talk” function is managed via the minumon website only. That’s not so convenient because we can’t use the minymon website as a central place from where we can update our minymon. We need to copy and paste the new code after every single change. EDIT: Because we can’t change the position of the minymon, I can’t add it to my website because it would overlap with the bottom navigation bar I have on mobile…

@anna_0x thanks for the feedback! I think it's a good idea to put a ballpark range, although specific prices vary depending on the request. We know that it's annoying to copy/paste the new code after making changes, and we're planning on making it so that you CAN centrally control your minymon from minymon.com. Finally, curious where you would want to position it on mobile? Just above the bar, or somewhere else?

They are very cute and it's an interesting idea. I have a feeling, though, that the style is best suited for audiences in China and Japan (maybe also in Korea) who are known to love this kind of style. For Western audiences, however, I would go for a bit different look (but it's totally fine for kids' audiences). It would be awesome if the user could customize the style of the characters, I already know what kind of character I would use on our website :)
