@enockjae It's interesting to see the ideas that are available for moving communities out of the Slack/Discord space. This looks similar to Circle to me, but with some differing terminology (boards) and the fact that Circle has added functionality that seems very useful for creators and educators.
Do you have any similar USPs on the roadmap? For this type of product I think a user threshold model makes sense (e.g. pay once you pass 50/100/whatever users) but is not the model I actually tend to see out in the wild, so your low, low price of free dollars is pretty compelling for people who have yet to build their communities. What's the monetisation plan for the future? Also, is there a web-based version in the pipeline (I prefer native apps, but I like to have the option in a pinch)?
@deejtulleken Thanks for your feedback. Yes, we could be similar, but we're not specifically targeting for creators. We really wanted "anyone" to set up their community boards quickly and forever free to use basic features with no limitation on membership size, or number of posts.
We have 3 monetization models in consideration,
1) Premium account with lots of premium features (monthly fixed fee)
2) Member subscription transaction fee (similar to Substack)
3) Community analytics
Yes, we not only have Desktop Website but also Desktop Apps (Mac/Windows)
Full mobile site is in the making as well. Feel free to check out~

@enockjae ah, cool-- just checking as I didn't see anything about a version specifically.
Those all make sense. From a personal perspective, being able to remove your branding and cordon off the community would be something I would upgrade from a free plan for.
Now that I'm signed up, I also have to give a thumbs up for the pre-verification criteria; very useful!
@deejtulleken Definitely, white labeling and customization would be key for the paid plan. Thanks!

Cool! Just signed up to test it out. Will this be free forever or I presume you will start to add features and charge later? What you have right now in terms of features is quit sufficient to get this started, but the usual cnames etc... are of interest.
Could you go into some detail around privacy of posts and chats. EG
Are things kept forever until deleted?
When things get deleted are the ACTUALLY deleted for real, or soft deleted?
@mickc79 Yes, when the account deleted, they are deleted from our db permanently and this action is irreversible. (48 hrs of grace period is given after delete request submitted) If you delete post (that's yours), all post contents and thread/chat/attachment on it will be also deleted forever.
As a moderator/admin, if you delete certain posts posted by other members, it will be simply hidden (technically) from your board only. (the post still can be visible on other boards posted, or on poster's My Post section, it will be like in Draft mode)
So if you post to "Myself", no one will be able to see your post unless you share it yourself.
If the post is posted to "Private board", only board members will be able to see.
If member can see post, they can see any chat message in that post. (but again, they need privacy right to be able to see the post first place)
Let me know if you have any other questions~

Community building is super important for all startups! This looks like a really fresh take on it. Congrats on the launch!
Signed up and love it - however I'd need my other questions from the other posts here answered before I could commit to using it with my company (how can it be free and privacy).
One piece of user feedback... the "reply" button looks EXTREMELY like a live chat widget. In fact I clicked it thinking that it was a live chat widget; only realising in retrospect that it was the reply button.
@mickc79 yes, we tried to make post reply/thread, a real time communication similar to chat format. (each topic/post thus have its own chat room automatically created)
We have three types of chat,
1) 1:1 Chat
2) Group Chat
3) Post Chat (that you've engaged/replied)
Let me know if you have any other questions~ (answered some above)
Cheers~
