We're super excited to introduce Motion, which marks our third productized service following the success of Flowout (design & development for Webflow) and Storehelper (Shopify development).
This time, we're taking a different direction by diving headfirst into the world of animation. Our goal is to launch a dedicated animation service, and we've carefully crafted two plans for the initial launch:
π Pay-per-animation: Perfect for those who need animation services on a project-by-project basis. You provide the design files and we bring them to life with stunning animations.
π Monthly unlimited subscription: Tailored for agencies and freelancers who require a continuous stream of animations. Enjoy unlimited access to our animation services with no hidden costs.
We want to particularly hear from agencies and freelancers in the community what you think about this service, but any kind of feedback is welcome from everyone π Your insights and suggestions are invaluable to us as we fine-tune both the web experience and our business model.

I think I remember you from Popsy @heygalx - Super impressed with this new project. Whoever you're working with is lucky to be your colleague! β‘οΈ
Do you have any plans to add rive.app? Saw them recently and they looked cool.
The subscription model is a neat twist.
Some feedback on landing since you asked in launch notes -
I sort of felt like I wanted to see more animations on your home page (outside of examples), maybe on 'book a demo' button, or elsewhere on the page?
The messages on the far right feel disconnected a bit, I can't really tell Michelle is 'texting' Alex. (They feel very far apart.)
The "Get a demo", "pay online" cards are in the same format as the ones above them ("animate your logos"), so I don't realise they are a user flow depiction unless I read them a few times. Maybe adding an arrow/motion indicator to signify I should read them LTR?
My hottest feedback take - I would like to be able to pay w/o doing a demo, I think I understand the intent behind demo-walling it, but still feel that it's sort of a big customer burden on my side to do a call for something I'm trying to outsource π (Not trying to be rude, just transparently wish I could click a buy button.)

@esus Hey Esus thanks so much, yeah you're right about Popsy - I kinda started my marketing & startup journey there, then moving on to Flowout and look at it - we have our third productized service in motion now (pun intended hehe) π
Will have to look into rive, thanks for sharing. But for now we'll stick to the current offer which is providing animations done by professionals per asset or for unlimited retainer model :)
Appreciate all the landing page feedback too, we already implemented some of it - for example on the pricing page you can now buy directly without having to go through the demo: https://www.motion.design/pricing

@raineconor Thanks Raine! Yeah it's something rarely seen I think and part of it why we're doing this - a lot of websites could use some animations to boost conversions, engagements etc. but don't really know how.
That's why providing a simple and clear service is win-win for both sides π Appreciate all the feedback, thanks again.
@mizanme No limitations for now. π As long as you provide the static images as a storyboard we can animate them together.

Great launch @heygalx ! The idea of animating graphics is awesome but it's always been a big challenge for non-designers. The pricing seems reasonable too.
How does the process of animating the assets work? Are there any specific file formats you accept?
Looking forward to trying out Motion and adding some animated magic to my websites!

To answer your other questions. Vector files are preferred. πAnd the experience is very straightforward.
1. Choose if you want to go with the pay per animation package or the unlimited subscription
2. send us the number of assets you want to get animated.
3. We start working on the request in 1-3 business days and you get the results shortly after.
You have 3 revisions included in the pay per animation package and unlimited revisions in the unlimited package. After you're satisfied with the animation we send it to you in lottie,mp4 and gif formats.
That is it. π
