Hey guys, thanks for the hunt. MUD started as a mission to replace my coffee ritual. I wasn’t mad at coffee, just disappointed. It created reliance, negatively impacted my sleep, and didn't give me a cognitive performance boost. Especially not over time. When creating MUD I searched for something I didn’t have to “give up” or rely on for my vitality. I wanted something I drank not just because everyone did, but because it actually benefited me. I explored everything out there. Traditional tea lacked the grit and complexity I loved about coffee. Yerba Mate had too much caffeine. Chai was too sweet. Juice… Nah. A breakthrough happened as I started exploring the benefits of cacao, cinnamon and turmeric. Shortly after, I was introduced to four mushrooms; Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Cordyceps, and Chaga. These shrooms each had their own specific power addressing everything from mental and physical performance to inflammation and immunity. When combined, I had a drink that addressed mind, body and ritual. I created this drink out of a desire for something better. It was my own exploration of finding the ingredients I believed in. I called it MUD\WTR and as of 2 months ago, I'm sharing it with you. Drink some. Ask me any questions you might have, consider me your mud sherpa.

@shane_heath thanks! I moved from coffee to matcha to morning exercise for energy, but I’m a sucker for these types of beverages so I’m excited to try it out.
Shane Heath
@kartikcooks nothing wrong with not settling until you find the best thing out there for your personal needs. Bravo sir.
Shane Heath
@kartikcooks Excited to hear your thoughts on MUD.

Are any ingredients coming from China? Where are the lab test results for contaminants such as pesticides and heavy metals?
Matt Gelgota
@dale_nivens Wondered about this too. According to their FAQ they source from Om Mushrooms who grow, process, and package their mushrooms in California. https://ommushrooms.com/faq/
Shane Heath
@dale_nivens our mushrooms are sustainably and organically grown in Carlsbad California by M2 Ingredients.

@dale_nivens @shane_heath Thanks Shane! Really digging it so far. Creamy/spiced morning ritual!

I'm going to every nearest Starbucks and convincing people this is a drink. Can't wait to try this!
Shane Heath
@dan_magidenko This is what starbucks coffee wants to be when it grows up.

So I’m on my 3rd can. I love the taste. Love the energy without the crash. But after the first 2 months having a cup in the morning everyday in place of coffee, I noticed my hair started falling out. Noticeably in the shower and shedding all day. The only thing I changed in my routine was this. So I stopped drinking it to see if my hair would eventually stop. It did significantly decrease about a month- month and a half later. So I just started taking it again a few weeks ago and sure enough my hair is falling out again. Has anyone had a similar experience? I’m so bummed because I really did love this. But I love having my hair more. Mushroom adaptogens DO interfere with hormones so I’m guessing that it’s something to do with that. Anyone else?

I like drinking it in place of evening coffee to avoid the jitters before bed.

Pros:

Tastes great and is simple to make.

Cons:

So far, so good.

Shane Heath
Bed jitters are the new monster under the bed. No one wants that. Adding this new benefit to our site for sure.

I've been drinking it for a couple months. It's a great alternative to coffee or with coffee with tons of benefits.

Pros:

tastes good with more sustained focus than coffee. There's no crash like coffee.

Cons:

you can't get it constantly pumped into your blood intravenously

Alivia Massimillo

The product is beautifully packaged, simple to use, and yummy. I’ve only used it once and there was a noticeable difference in how I felt. I‘m not one of those people who writes reviews just to write them, trust me, the stuff is #legit.

Pros:

Easy to use

Great taste

Really improves focus, and energy

Cons:

None!

Shane Heath
Thanks Alivia, grateful for your thoughts and happy you're part of the MUD FAM.
