I'm all for turning to-dos into a quest, but what really piques my interest how does Neopaths keep the motivation motor running long-term? You know, it’s one thing to snag folks with shiny badges, but another to keep them questing day after day. What’s the trick to ensuring the "game" doesn't wear off when the novelty does? Because let's face it, the true boss battle is staying the course, right?

Our plan is to add courses that are related to professional development, mostly soft skills but also a variety of courses that can help you understand some complex topics including psychology, investments, or similar. The possibilities are pretty much endless with the technical implementation as we can add videos, audio, polls, quizzes, links, etc... to our courses. Additionally, we plan to offer multiple courses on specific subjects, like the global economy, to help you thoroughly understand complex concepts. Each new course will be designed to contribute to your personal growth in meaningful ways.

Our approach is more action-based, meaning that the platform rewards you for your achievements (completing the action) rather than just offering encouragement for each activity on the platform. You'll earn rewards when you complete a task, set your goals, or finish a lesson along with its quiz. We're also excited to introduce additional learning paths soon. This will give you a clearer roadmap for your journey, allowing you to concentrate on taking action rather than spending too much time planning. Also, we've partially implemented a framework called octalysis that is designed to target your motivation in a way that games do which helps you keep motivated towards actions.
