A Price-to-Sales Ratio is a method for valuing traditional stocks. It is calculated by taking a stocks Market Capitalization (the total number shares, multiplied by the share price) and dividing it by the stocks total sales (revenue) over the last 12 months. Although NFTs technically don't earn income via sales (revenue) as traditional stocks do, comparable data exists: the total number of tokens in an NFT collection and the NFT collection Floor Price. The total number of tokens in an NFT collection and the NFT collection Floor Price gives the Market Capitalization of an NFT collection. The Market Capitalization of NFT collection, divided by the total volume of sales for that NFT collection gives a Price-To-Sales Ratio for the NFT collection.
