This is a useful tool — pulling in from several DNS hosts! I also added it to my Alfred Custom Web Searches to make it super fast to use by Alfred users!

Thanks @chrismessina! For people that are not on MacOS, you can also install the browser plugin to look up DNS records with a single click :)

Good stuff. Clean interface and works fast. Helped me to quickly debug the configuration which was tricky to get right due to the clunkiness of the console of my domain provider.

@soto Thanks Mike! Glad to hear it saved you some hassle :)

Hi PH! Ruurtjan here from NsLookup.io. This has been my corona project for the past half year. As always it’s taken much more time than I anticipated, and there’s still a lot to be done. The motivation for this build was the mediocre sites currently ranking on ‘nslookup’ and ‘nslookup online’ on Google. The UX is horrible and design dates from the 90’s. It was time for a modern take on a simple web tool. In terms of features and UX, these are the things I’ll be working on first: 📄 Parsing for all DNS records (e.g. visualise the rules for SPF records) 🌍 Add data that isn’t in the records directly (e.g. IP location for A/AAAA records) ✅ Automated checks (e.g. HTTP status codes and ping for A/AAAA) Is there anything else you think would improve nslookup.io? Cheers, Ruurtjan
