Hello Product Hunters! 👋 I'm Alex, CEO and founder of NEXA AI, and I'm thrilled to introduce Octoverse: AI Companion for All. 🚀 🌟 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 I've always believed that AI could transform our interaction with technology from clicking UI buttons to using natural language. This vision inspired me to start NEXA AI. 🌟 The idea for Octoverse was born at CES, where we saw the excitement for AI integration but noticed existing solutions were too slow, costly, and often didn't get jobs done for users (mostly just conversations). This led us to develop Octopus V2, an action model for AI agents. 💡 Our model has secured 🥈 2nd place on Hugging Face's trending models list, was featured in a 📣 Google I/O PR post on Gemma 2, and is praised by leaders in the AI community. 🙌 Now, we're making these accurate, fast, and affordable AI agents available to every builder via Octoverse. 🚀 💡 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 Software is sometimes frustrating to use. Endless buttons, complex workflows, and a steep learning curve, even for a simple job. 😓 It seems like an obstacle to achieving your app's goals. 🔧 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 What if your users could just tell your software what they want, and it does that for them? 🤔 Imagine having a personal assistant that understands and completes tasks for you in apps. 📱Would this enhance user experience and as a result, accelerate your business growth? 📈💪 Best, Alex

@alexchen4ai Hi Alex, I came across your vision for Octoverse, an AI companion for everyone, and found the concept incredibly interesting. The idea of a user interacting naturally with software through an AI assistant is powerful. As a developer with a background in AI, I'm interested in learning more about the potential collaboration opportunities in Octoverse. My experience fits well with the technical challenges of integrating AI assistants into software, and I believe I can contribute to the development of the platform. In particular, I would like to understand: - Is Octoverse designed to integrate with certain types of software (e.g. web apps, mobile apps)? - Do you have existing SDKs or APIs to make it easier for developers to integrate with Octoverse? I believe my skills can be valuable in helping developers use Octoverse to improve user experience and drive business growth. Good luck with your launch! Thank you, Max

@iampascio Imagine having an AI agent as your personal secretary and it can does everything for you. Would this be awesome? :)

@iampascio Assume AGI will come, from a technical perspective, there will be : (1) Everyone has a personalized AI Agent, they learn what you say and act like you, you can get rid of all duplicate work (2) AI Agent will be fully embedded in the devices' operating systems (or even embedded devices like Neuralink) and you interact with them using natural language

This looks like a great app that can create extremely helpful tutorial assistance for users. This can also save a lot of time for customer support workers from having to walk customers through the basic functionalities of their app. Great idea for a product!
Rita Ling
@yahya_obeid Thanks for your kind words! We aim to streamline learning and reduce customer support workloads. Glad you appreciate the idea!
Zack Li
@yahya_obeid Thanks and we keep expanding the functionalities to more industries, we start with shopping, traveling and plan to expand to more verticals to cover most agent use cases, stay tuned!

Congratulations on the launch, it looks very impressive. I have already registered on your website and reviewed your developer documentation, but I still have some confusion about how to use it specifically. It seems like the playground is in JSON mode, but in the developer documentation, it appears to be a way to route the API through LLM. So, is the usage of this that I need to register all my APIs and their corresponding descriptions in one place, and then integrate your services? After posting the user's natural language input to your service, will your service determine which API needs to be called as a function call? I still haven't figured out how to practically use your product, and I would like to know if there are any developer-friendly examples available.
Brian
@brandon_cccc Hi Brandon, I am an Engineer at Nexa AI. Thank you for your interest and congratulations on registering and reviewing our developer documentation! To address your questions: Playground and API Integration: Our playground and the open API interface are actually the same. The playground serves as a demo to show how our model determines which function to use based on different natural language inputs. Model Training for Use Cases: Currently, we have trained four different models for four specific use cases. These models will return pre-determined function names and parameters based on the user's input. As a developer, you are responsible for implementing these functions. Custom APIs and Model Training: If you have custom APIs and want to train a model specifically for your use case, you can click "contact us" on the Pricing table. We have the capability to train a model tailored to your specific needs. For example, in the shopping category, as a developer, you might implement functions like see_recommended_products and search_products. Our model will return the function name and parameters based on the user's query, allowing you to directly call the functions you have written. I hope this clarifies how to practically use our product. If you have any further questions or need additional examples, please don't hesitate to reach out!
