with recent launches from @Lago, @Hanko, @Meilisearch, @Scoutflo , and @Strapi, it feels like the OSS industry is booming right now.

when I started contributing to OSS, I learned that you don't need to code to contribute to open-source projects.

@ossjobs.dev just makes so much sense. it's the new side-project by the makers of @Opensourcealternative.to and @AnalyzeMyRepo.com, currently featuring 30+ job openings in various open-source startups, covering roles in engineering, marketing, and people management.

if you're looking for your next career move or part of an OSS company searching for open-source enthusiasts, bookmark this.

To help OSS teams find talent is an awesome mission 🚀 Reminds me to put up our open roles there too.

I'm thrilled to see the crowd.dev team actively working towards the incredible mission of assisting OSS teams in finding talented individuals. It's a reminder for me to also utilize the platform by posting our own open roles. In fact, we've just submitted our very first job post. Keep up the great work, crowd.dev team! Your efforts are commendable and have the potential to make a significant impact in the open-source software community.

This is interesting! How many percent of jobs are remote?

Congratulations on the launch
This is cool - especially for someone who wants to do more open-source work but has yet to know where to start! The main bit of feedback - ensuring listings are up-to-date. I just checked a couple, and both are no longer available. The likelihood is the average user would churn.

@rawoyemi good point! cc @igorkotua for the record

This is cool! Is it for the employer side as well? I tried issue hunt. But low success rate. I don't understand why the model doesn't work. And upwork thrives.

@eonpilot yes, OSS companies can post their job openings on the platform -- it's 100% free. you can read the announcement here for more details. enjoy!

@fmerian Thanks. Really cool! Would love language sorting as well. Most people in OSS have 1-3 expert fields. Usually language they write in etc.
