Hello Product Hunters! Who is Page Speaker for, and what does it do? This product is made for anyone who develops on the web. Whether you have a small portfolio website or a big online SaaS, chances are, your site is not accessible. In fact, 90% of websites aren't either. But with Page Speaker, you get to be a part of the other 10%, without breaking the bank. Page Speaker is the only accessibility toolbar on the market that issues lifetime licenses rather than charging a monthly fee. You'll enjoy increased reach, enhanced SEO, and a large step towards Level AA compliance. You can add Page Speaker to any website in just two simple steps. Plus, it loads in the background and doesn't slow down your site! Page Speaker, at least as of now, does not automatically grant full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance. (But the website is going to have free accessible web development documentation for web developers!) But hey, this is just the beginning - Page Speaker is perpetually maintained, and new features are continually, automatically delivered to websites with an active installation. Why I made Page Speaker I made this product because I wanted a simple lightweight toolbar for my websites that gave me the most common accessibility features, primarily for the expanded audience and SEO benefits. I also didn't want to pay $49/month or more for some toolbar that came equipped with a heavy package of compliance features I didn't need. And I'll be the first to tell you - even the Page Speaker website itself isn't fully AAA compliant. But it's still much more accessible than the majority of websites. And if I can have something like 70-80% of my compliance done for me, in just two easy steps (for a one-time payment), I'm happy. I hope you guys find Page Speaker as useful as I do! Bug reports, feature requests, criticism, and other feedback is welcome. P.S. - It would be awesome if Product Hunt had an "Accessibility" topic!

Is there any information on how this actually works? Like a video, some screenshots, or anything at all.
Nathan Clark
@jarrod On the product pages, I've added a promo video and some feature descriptions. I'm also preparing to revamp most of the pages with screenshots/animations that make the best features more clear.

@nathanio the product video is kind of useless. It's just text and images, so it probably didn't need to be a video in the first place. It's also only viewable after I've clicked a 'buy now' button, which I'm probably never going to click until I have more information anyway, so I'd consider moving any promo videos to your landing page, albeit, I wouldn't use that video personally. Also, I still have no idea what your accessibility bar actually *does* or *looks like*. Pretty important to know if someone is actually going to purchase it. I'm probably not your target audience, because I build accessible websites, but if I was your TA, I probably still wouldn't buy it purely because I can't see what it is I'm actually buying. Hope this helps you improve the offering and get it out there.

@jarrod It really does help, thanks! Yeah, the product is in early-stage, perpetual development. The site has a long way to go in terms of optimizing for more conversions, and I agree that there needs to be more images and videos that are more clear about the product itself (presented before the CTAs).
