What do you think? …

Lukas Rüger
Storing passwords on the blockchain may be more secure than storing them at one place with a password manager. But the main security threats lie within the passwords themselves - brute-force attacks, phishing etc. are all still possible, don't you think? I believe that passkeys are the future of authentication in the web, including the web3. What is your opinion on passkeys? We'll launch Corbado - a Developer tool to implement passkeys easy & quick into any existing application or website - in a few days. Feel free to check it out :)
Mehmet Kırçal
@lrueger "But the main security threats lie within the passwords themselves - brute-force attacks, phishing etc. are all still possible, don't you think?" Yes, and we want to support generating more secure passwords like mnemonic phrases that cannot be brute-forced since 2028^12 or 2048^24 are hard to brute force (for example seed phrases in Web3). We love Passkeys and we want to integrate with them as well!

@mehmetkarchal Nice! If you want to quickly implement passkeys, hit us up at corbado.com ;)

@lrueger @mehmetkarchal congrats on the launch fellow launcher!
Rick Fan
Congrats! This is a very critical function for blockchain applications, how do you address security issues?
Mehmet Kırçal
@rick_fan In blockchain, we address these issues with the help of AES256 and Mnemonic Phrases. You are not backed by a master password, instead you are backed by a mnemonic phrase, which is 12 words that you can remember, but hard to guess with a bruteforce. We will share whitepaper and a blog about addressing these security issues within the Patara!

@mehmetkarchal I get what you're saying. What I want to know is, if we want to trade BTC on HT, and the transaction password is stored with you, do we need to use your product to authorize every transaction? Or does your product just manage the passwords and we need to input the password through copy-paste?
Mehmet Kırçal
@rick_fan Patara is only supposed to store your private keys/seeds, accounts(which is mail/username & pw pairs) and credit cards. If you want to trade BTC on Binance let's say, and you are signed out of Binance, you will login with Patara(autofill). We do not support onchain transactions right now, but we will later on.
Girish Gilda
This looks like a very useful platform for storing passwords.
Abhilash Chowdhary
Cool stuff, team Patara APP. Will try it out.

@abhilash_chowdhary it's glad to hear that :)
Samantha aka CandyToyBox
This is great! How are you going about getting in front of crypto audiences?
Ömer GÖKSOY
@candytoybox thank you, we're still planing that :)
