Hi @egeceler, looks interesting! I'm from the Netherlands so it seems options are limited thus far but I'll keep an eye on this. Wondering; why do I need to select the program first and then search for a flight? Personally I'd find it easier to select the to-from locations first and then see all possible flights and programs. I'd be mainly interested in buying flights at a discount rather than selling points.

@luca_spanjaard Hi Luca 👋 Thank you for your feedback, currently we go by the Loyalty Program, therefore the need to select it first. However, in the upcoming releases we have further plans to improve the process and have many more ideas in our roadmap. Thanks!

@egeceler Cool! I've thought of a similar idea myself but – amongst other things – I was afraid airlines/loyalty programs would reject a market for points bcs it decreases customer loyalty for programs/airlines. I guess I was wrong about that :-) I'm rooting for you!

Our other initiative is a blockchain based Loyalty Platform called www.globalmiles.com . During that period almost everyone, every partner and customer was asking us about the expiry of airline miles and loyalty program expiry. With our venture we improve the engagement of these Loyalty Program with customers and believe a mutual benefit will arise. In the end, You, as a member of any loyalty program are the ultimate owner of the rewards and it should be your decision what to do with your rewards, avoiding any possibility of expiry.

You, as a member of any loyalty program are the ultimate owner of the reward and it should be your decision what to do with your rewards, avoiding any possibility of expiry. Therefore, we launched Pointship! The new generation travel platform, a marketplace where members can share their unused travel rewards with others’. You can either create your wallet and share, or you simply issue a travel order, like flight ticket, upgrades with rewards from others and save on travel costs up to 80%. Our app is available on App Store and Google Play. So why Pointship? 🤔 🧠 ⚡ We realized the need for a way to benefit from all the accumulated and unused rewards we own. I like the idea it is brilliant and it is a big need. I just wonder if I want to buy a ticket and I need 2000 miles for that can I take it from different users and sum up or just from users who has more than 2000 miles?

@kodkafasicom Hi, thanks for asking. We are about to release a new feature which is called Mile Transfer. Using that feature, you will be able to top-up your own account with the additional miles you need for a trip from other members. Stay tuned.

Do airlines like to be on your platform? Wouldn't they prefer their points expired instead of someone claiming them?

Most airlines have heavy penalties for users who try to sell their points or buy tickets for strangers (many examples of people loosing all their miles and being banned from the loyalty program) ... is this not a risk for your users? Have you made them aware of these risks?
