UI looks great, also great idea for personal dairy. I write something in my personal diary almost every day as a reflection. And the one-click recording tool can be a great improvement to the process.
@amanda_deng How do you solve the issue of syncing with the old diary? Can I somehow write notes in your extension and automatically sync them with standard notes (like Apple)?
Started using this a few days ago and I'm really enjoying it, thanks for creating @amanda_deng!
One bit of feedback - the signup page was challenging to navigate (too much info for me), and I struggle a bit with the settings page too. Wonder if you could make this cleaner?
@apuchitnis Working to clean the onboarding and settings, thanks for your feedback!

Great extension. I love this idea and having it as an extension is easy and seamless. Making it very accessible. Is this something you would be looking at building out as a safari extension or releasing as an app on the Apple store?
Hey PH π
We're excited to share Ponder with the PH community today! Thanks @nickabouzeid for hunting us π
Since this January, we've been building a frictionless, shortcuts-based journaling experience built into your new tab on Chrome and Firefox (Safari coming soon).
β We built Ponder to get people right to journaling, without the mess of coming up with prompts, entering links, signing in, starting and saving entries, and even just clicking. Especially as the pandemic has forced many to be isolated and searching for ways to grapple with the new normal, we felt the need to give people a reflective outlet that doesn't add even more stress.
Ponder makes it easier to daily journal and capture snippets of your life in written form.
Today, Ponder lets you:
π Respond to thought-provoking prompts organized into categories β Daily Productivity, Daily Lists, Daily Reflection, Creative, Self-Reflection, Free-Write ...
π± Replace your new tab window with a beautiful page
β¨οΈ Use built-in keyboard shortcuts for a seamless writing experience
π΅ Set gentle reminders to write daily when visiting unproductive websites
π View password-enabled entries page and filter and search by category and content
β Enjoy aesthetic morning, afternoon, and evening backgrounds
βCustomize daily questions
βοΈ Track writing streaks and analytics
If you're into journaling or want to start, we would love your feedback! We want to create an even easier and more seamless writing experience. Shoot us a note at help@getponder.app with any thoughts, and we'll happily respond π₯
Happy journaling! πππ

Ponder has a super clean UI, and the daily prompts are a nice way to reflect on your day with minimal effort. The visuals of this extension are also so satisfying - every time I open up a new tab I love seeing the Ponder backgrounds!
Super clean! Having it as an extension makes me feel like it isn't as disruptive to my normal workflows. Really love that it sets up UI blocks/reminders for unproductive website
@caitlinxyz Thanks Caitlin! Totally hear you on the extension piece as opposed to apps in general. Maybe one day, we'll move closer into the productivity space as well.
