Huge Thanks to @kevin for hunting us!
Hi Hunters!
My name is Niclas, I’m an 18 year old college student from Germany.
In December, together with a friend from college, I published the production release of Pyro - an App that makes it possible to integrate music voting into any party with only a couple of clicks.
A quick rundown on how Pyro works:
Pyro makes it possible for party hosts to connect their Spotify Account and let their party show up on a map for people around it. Guests can then join without needing to log in and influence the playback in real-time while it’s playing from the host's phone.
We are currently collecting feedback from users and experienced founders like yourself. So if you have any thoughts or questions, I would love to hear from you in the comments or via Twitter :)

My friends using Deezer and Spotify, some of them even listen only to downloaded music. It would be fun, if they could vote too
@fresh_food They can! You don't have to have Spotify to vote. Only the host needs to have a Spotify account.

Really cool feature !
When you search a song, you should have a "debounce" method after typing the title instead of having to click on the "search" icon
@guillaume_occuly Thanks for the input! Will include that in the next update :)

I like this idea a lot. I'm getting ready to launch a music app that also involves voting, but is quite different from Pyro. Would love to chat about tips on launching on product hunt
@wei_sheng Thank you Wei! Yes. Your guests will need to download the app. However, that's all they'll have to do! Once you downloaded the app, joining a party is as easy as clicking on a link :)

@wei_sheng Great question. My first thought on seeing this was using it for Cafes and Bars. (That's not really feasible with a download.)
Would love to see a functionality like many other apps where you can vote in-browser with no account.
@wei_sheng@jamesskon We weren't sure wether this was something users wanted. Hearing it from you gives us the confirmation that it is! Will definitely implement this in a future update. Thank you James :)
@chris_duhaime Hi Chris! Yes, the host has privileges to do everything without votes. You can also promote your guests to Mod status to give them those rights. Hope this answers your questions :)
