Over the last few years, we’ve seen better rates, better customer service, and more choice with these alternatives. Community banks down the street from you are harder to find than mega-banks thousands of miles away. As ex-employees of big banks, we saw first-hand how these mega-banks dominate by spending hundreds of millions annually on marketing and advertising. The never-ending auction for your attention (Google search, Facebook ads, etc.) has only worsened during the pandemic, making small banks impossible to find online. That's why we built RateBunni; to help you find the right bank for you, with a complete, unbiased, and personalized way to see what’s out there. What makes RateBunni different? First, the major finance sites only show the banks who pay them. The information presented is without bias towards our revenue. Second, instead of only showing a handful of banks, RateBunni pulls in 500+ lenders with 130 data points on each one, and we’re almost at 10GB of data. We take a different approach by aggregating data from around the web, from a variety of sources. Like many great products, RateBunni started as an accident. I had an intern who was joining our company last summer and we requested him to collect rates for lenders for analytics. We soon realized that we could automate the process, and after few months, we decided to make the data accessible to consumers through RateBunni product. My co-founder talked me out of calling it RateGopher. It is amazing to see RateBunni come to life. We hope to give you all the info on lenders so that you make the best decision for yourself. Rate has info lender's rates, how customers rate them, how quickly and easy is their application, diversity, and their community connection.
