Ryeboard Beta

@roman_eaton Thanks Roman! I'm a huge productivity tool consumer and so I did take a look at RealtimeBoard and also Milanote before developing this. They both have great products but I wanted to make something in the middle. After adding some tools like free drawing and collaboration, hopefully it'll live up to that vision!

@tanishqsh96 Hey Tanishq, you can delete a widget by clicking on the widget once and hitting delete / backspace. I didn't spend as much time as I should have on UX and tutorials so I apologize for the rough edges. I will definitely add more widgets / tools soon! @tanishqsh96 @gmail @partrunner Man, this looks interesting! I did have plans on making mind-map arrows but I've currently decided a free-drawing tool is more urgent. But no worries! I'll get around to the mind-map arrows soon :)

Great work @john_bae. Will surely suggest a couple of things. As @partrunner suggested, mind-meister is a good reference point of little widgets (Another is Trello)

@diegonlly Hey Diego. I'm afraid I'm not familiar with InVision Freehand but I just took a look at it and wow, it looks awesome! Ryeboard is a work in progress that is meant to be more of a general tool rather than a specialized one such as InVision Freehand. It admittedly lacks a lot of features to differentiate itself from competitors right now but it's only been 2 months since I started developing it. Although Ryeboard is a side-project of mine, I'm spending (and will continue to spend!) lot's of time ramping up it's capabilities. @abadesi Hey Abadesi! I realize the app would be very limited without a mobile app to accompany it and so it's definitely in my agenda. I'm also thinking about adding some premium paid features but I'll hold off on that until I can get the free version nice and cozy :)

@stephenalan Hey there Stephen. Slack integration would be awesome! I love guys like you that really tear down the product for what it is. Ryeboard right now is bare bones and the competitors are well established and offer muuuuuch more than Ryeboard at the moment. I've done my research and the market is a red one alright. But I believe there exists a nice cozy space between document based boards such as Milanote and free drawing boards like Realtimeboard. I actually just added a drawing tool to get this vision going and I'm hoping with further user feedback and engagement, I can build a product that everybody will find value in. Right now I'm just trying to see if anyone wants the ideas that I've got in my head so making #1 Product of the Day was an incredible surprise. I must admit ProductHunters have caught me with my pants down on this one, but I'll get around to completing this in timely fashion. Thanks for your interest! :)
