secondhand.dev is a private platform built for developers to buy and sell electronic devices. Anonymous users are not able to see the contact information. Instead of that, only the one who has an active GitHub account can see the seller's contact information.
It's craigslist for developers. I know that seller is a developer like me. That is enough to buy/sell for me.

Hi folks!
I am pretty sure that selling or buying a second-hand device is horrible. How can you trust the seller or buyer? Does the device really work as described? We are here to solve all of your problems; with a platform to buy and sell used electronics for developers.
I am glad to announce that secondhand.dev is live as a global product that can be used from anywhere in the world.
Furkan and I are the developers who care about trust in commerce, as much as everyone else. That's why we've built secondhand.dev with GitHub authentication. Without GitHub authentication, there is no way to see who is selling the items on the secondhand.dev. Also, we are using an algorithm that checks the activation of the GitHub account to filter the people that are not real developers.
Help us to build a great product with your feedback!

I feel like I can trust developers more than anyone while buying electronics stuff. Secondhand.dev is a pinpoint answer to my feelings :) Thanks for this great product. I will definitely use it. 👍

@yakuter Thank you very much. Trust is the most important key in buying second-hand stuff. :)

I suggest adding a way to display by "lowest cost/highest cost," "Location by Name," and "Product by Name/Type."

@kevin_t_ Thank you very much for your feedback. We noted that. We are going to start to work on it soon.

It's a good idea and I liked the UI changes that came with the last update, but with this update, we can't see the view count of our posts. I wish such a nice feature would not be removed.

@turker_yi thanks a lot for your feedback!
I totally agree with you. I guessed we forgot to add counts to the product details while creating the new designs. What a shame! Please, just give some time us to add it again. We already have the data, just we need to add the counts again.

Nice idea. I see the products are listed only from one country. Congrats on the launch.

@basharath Thank you very much!
Actually, we started with Turkey first. That's why you see a lot of ads from Turkey. But I believe that it also means proof of work, doesn't it? :)
@basharath it is probably due to the origin of the use cases. I've sold my computer over this service last month, and it was fast, free and smooth. I think with the usage of people the bias of being used in a single country will change, and it will be global step by step.

@basharath@omergulenn I totally agree, Ömer. We are expanding the service day by day with different countries while we are adding new features. There is a long way for us.
Also, I am so glad that you experienced it by selling your computer. Every sale makes a count.
