Hey guys, First time “maker” here. We’re so excited to finally share Shoplift with you. We’ve talked to so many of you who have the same story we did: you’re frustrated that the A/B testing tools on the market don’t integrate well with Shopify and you’re tired of having to work with engineers in order to launch the tests you want. We hear it all the time. That’s why we built Shoplift: the first data-driven, no-code A/B testing platform built specifically for Shopify merchants. To those who have been with us on the journey, thank you. We’ve been blown away by the positive response Shoplift has gotten, and we’ve been working feverishly to incorporate all your amazing feedback. To those who are new to Shoplift, welcome. We can’t wait to hear what you think. Some context for the uninitiated: A/B testing has been around for a long time, but if you're a Shopify merchant who’s tried using other A/B testing tools, you know how frustrating it can be to try to launch the test you want. Traditionally, there have been two types of tools: ones that force you to use their separate platform to build an entirely new page to test, or ones that only let you edit a version of your existing page using a WYSIWYG editor. The problem with the former is that you can’t isolate the variable you’re testing because you’re changing too many things at once. The problem with the latter is that their WYSIWYG editors don’t let you test anything more substantial than a button or copy change unless you have the assistance of a developer. The reason these other tools are so limited is because they want to be compatible with any platform. Shoplift is different. By building a testing app specifically for Shopify merchants, we are able to give users significantly more power and control than any other testing platform. But that was just the beginning. We also added a new feature called Lift Assist™ which provides test recommendations based on your store and your brand styles. We hope you like it. Happy testing!
