Intelligent Chatbots
A chatbot has two components,
1. Natural Language Understanding (NLU)
NLU components can understand the users' intents, extract embedded information in the user utterances, and produce an independent language representation. It uses the latest Natural Language processing techniques, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence to produce a generalized representation of the user inputs, which is then forwarded to the response predictor to construct the dialog. The same NLU can be trained for multiple languages. It can be connected to multiple channels (WhatsApp, Messenger, Webchat) and extract the inputs in different modalities (Text, Voice, Pictorial).
2. Conversation Management
The Conversation Management component predicts the responses considering both user inputs forwarded from the NLU and the history of the conversation. It uses prediction models trained with Artificial Intelligence techniques to determine incoming user input's next action. It can extract the required information from the external resources such as knowledge-bases, APIs .etc to construct the responses to the users. The Conversation Management component maintains the conversations' history, which leads to providing a personalized and context-aware conversational experience.
