Hey Phunters! I'm Chris, one of the co-founders of the Shyft app. We're working super hard to build a world class product for shift-work teams around the globe. Currently shift workers use a scattered collection of pen and paper procedures, or social media and messaging tools that don't offer users the proper Ui/Ux for swapping shifts etc. Shyft solves these problems! We have built a labor marketplace that allows employees and managers to get shifts covered FAST. In the last 3 months, over 26,000 hours have been swapped on Shyft. We are proud to announce our latest financing round earlier this week led by Madrona Ventures.

Awesome app for hourly workers looking to free up some time to play Pokemon Go!
I had this same idea awhile back when I worked in retail. The biggest problem I encountered was management adoption and from what I see you've made it fairly easy to use for both employees and managers.
Glad to see such a well executed solution to swapping shifts. Best of luck to you guys!
@desmonddantzler thanks man! Yeah, we started with a top down approach but didn't get enough traction. We switched to a user up distribution strategy and the product started to get much more usage. Thanks for your comment!
@leif Hey! Managers have admin features that allow them to approve and reject shift swaps. Employees and managers are notified with push notifications of the swap requests, and approvals!
Looks great. How are people notified if they do not have this app installed? In other words, how can people who are offline (not registered) can take advantage of this feature? Do you have a browser signin where people can register and get some kind of notification in emails or via SMS? Just a thought!
