Getting into InDesign can be challenging. Navigating the myriad of menus becomes tedious after a while, as I experienced myself. Design should not be about mastering every possible keystroke and menu item. It should focus on what you want to achieve. I created Sidekick to scratch my own itch, to feel more productive getting things done in InDesign. It's great for getting started with InDesign, since it shows you how to do things without requiring you to follow your AI assistant's instructions step by step. But there is also something in it for experienced InDesign users. It puts scripting capabilities in the hands of non-coders.
