The shortage of ASL interpreters causes real challenges for the Deaf and HoH community, from being able to access needed services to being able to fully participate in business and community discussions. Virtual platforms don't do enough today: captioning quality and accuracy are still too low, and lip-reading suffers from people having turned off their cameras, or whose lips are out of frame or otherwise covered. We are excited to launch the first broadly available, on-demand, realtime, bi-directional AI Sign Language interpreter. Available as a plug-in for video conferencing platforms and as a standalone app on desktop and mobile, Sign AI provides instant, high-quality sign language interpretation services at a fraction of the cost of a human.
