Steamr

Hello Everyone, I woke up one fine morning realising, that I want my kids to use a social video platform, that is about connecting with friends, and like minded people, rather than mindlessly watching "funny" videos. So with a former colleague and friend we set out to create this platform. I know it's going to be extremely hard. My ask for you is, that if you like te idea of a short video social platform, that values conversations and connections, then please join our small community on Steamr. Where the way to communicate is "cuts" or short videos (currently max 16 sec) Why video? We strongly think video is the way forward, but we also transcribe all videos, and do search on based the text. So it's video, but it's text as well, and videos with no spoken content will be rarely shown. Vibe not follow. Although the functionality is basically very similar, we want people primarily not to follow, but vibe with other users. We value a good conversation, that is to the benefit of all. Legit vs. like. Similarly we want videos, that have meaningful content. Everything goes - as far as it's not objectionable - however Steamr is aimed towards a social experience, and will promote interaction.
