STONE: The Chef’s Notebook

There's a few neat things about this notebook, besides the fact that it looks beautiful, but this is what really caught my eye: the paper itself is made from ground-up limestone, providing natural properties from the stone that are unique to this notebook. "Stone paper lies at the heart of the Stone notebook. Offcuts taken from limestone quarries, that would otherwise go to waste, are churned up to a fine powder and turned into paper. The result is a material that's resistant to water and grease. Butter, wine and oil can simply be wiped off with no stain left on the pages or smudging of the ink, making it a paper born to survive the kitchen. Great idea and looks fantastic! Should make one for gardeners/builders and any other outdoor related activity that could necessitate a notebook!
