StopProc

Like AdBlock but to block procrastinating content

This extension removes the "related videos" en Youtube, the "Trending Topics" in Twitter, "related news" in news websites, etc. Now you'll only see the content you want to see. That's all. No more wasted time on "related content" procrastination.

Hi everyone! =============== This extension works like @getadblock (which removes all the "ads" on websites), but this extension removes all the "related content" that always results in a lot of wasted hours looking dummy content like: "Do you know what Justin Bieber said about Michael Jackson?". =============== For example, after installing this extension: - If you open a Youtube video, you are not gonna see the Related Videos, not the comments anymore. - If you open Twitter, you are not going to see the Trending Topic tables anymore. Currently, it only has a small set of rules. So, only a few websites have content blocked, like New York Times (you are not going to see "related news" anymore), Twitter, Youtube, The Guardian, CNN, Fox News, Huffington Post, and that's pretty much right now. It's an MVP. In the extension, you'll be able to "report this website", so I'll get an email with the URL, which I'll analyze, and I'm going to add the rules to block the procrastinating content in the next extension version. What would you add to this extension? Schedule hours? Stop the extension for some websites? Just let me know and I'll try to add it. Any recommendation is very welcome. Firefox Store: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US... Chrome Store: https://chrome.google.com/websto... Opera Store: https://addons.opera.com/en/exte... (seems to be broken, but it is actually because Opera moderators are going too slow to approve the extension) See you! Good day and productivity! PS.: Yes, you can disable it in case you really want to waste your time. PS2.: Do you find it useful? Please don't forget to report more URLs and sharing it on Twitter :D
