StoriesForKids.ai helps parents+kids read and create together. Answer a few questions and bring stories and illustrations to life. Make your child the hero of an adventure, use a story to help teach them a lesson, or make the bedtime routine fun for everyone.
The single biggest predictor of academic success is reading to your child. Not flash cards. Not workbooks. Not fancy preschools or private schools. Not blinking toys. Just Mom or Dad taking the time every day or night to sit and read wonderful stories together.
As a recent first-time parent, I ran out of books quickly. Sure, repetition can help make bedtime routines a bit more predictable. But something more engaging had the potential to make reading fun for both of us — the same way building LEGOs is more fun than playing with the final product.
In my last few weeks of parental leave, I made this for my son. I'm interested in getting feedback from other parents on whether this is something engaging and exciting for your children. At the very least, it's been fun for me to spend such meaningful and memorable time together with my son.

@bryanjroy bravo for this brilliant idea. And congratulation for your newborn kid, may God bless him.
I wanted to see if we can talk together about an idea of partnership: Cause we are building a smart theater for kids BUBLE and we are looking for a tool to help story tellers make their stories come real and share it via our digital platform.
Here is my email:

I also sent you a connection request over LinkedIn.
Thank you.

This is a super fun idea to engage both parents and kids. I tried creating a story but faced a bug with scrolling and was only able to see the first page. I'm using a Brave browser. Do let me know if you need more info to debug.
Again, loved the idea. Good luck with the launch :)
A niche and interesting application for AI! Some of the illustrations could look scary to children though, especially with the blurry eyes. Is there a way to increase the quality of the illustrations?
If you're using stable diffusion for the images, then I think you could crank up the steps for each image or use a model specialized in drawing people. ESGran or GFPgan are also ways it can be used to correct faces. I'm actually developing an API for stable diffusion for developers, so I'm quite familiar with all this.
Could also see an issue if less appropriate things get generated, but I'd image you have a filter in place.
Other generators like Midjourney or Dalle should be fine, but they seem to be more expensive.
Good luck on your project!
"The single biggest predictor of academic success is reading to your child." - that's so interesting. Do you have any research on that?
Anyway, congrats on your launch. Not running out of stories is one thing, but I can see another advantage This looks like a way to put examples of real-life situations/complicated into stories so that it's easier for kids to understand them.
Good luck!

I created a story about a rabbit but the visuals of the rabbit was not there. I was also having trouble swiping up and down in the story line, maybe we can use the arrow keys to navigate. Apart from that cool concept, we all know when visuals are there kids can grasp the concept better. Kudos to your launch!
@sonalidoval Hey - thank you for the feedback. What browser are you using? Right now it's optimized for mobile. But I'm working to make it more compatible wherever.
I'm also working on improving the image generation quality. Will follow up when that's ready.

Would it be possible to create an account without having to log in with Google? I take a lot of care of my Google account and I basically don't connect it anywhere. For me that was an: "I'll have to pass on this one" despite being an awesome tool.
Also, an LTD to be used commercially on KDP would be great.
