Hey hunters! 🤙🏼 A while ago, I came across a problem that surfing athletes face during competitions: from the water, they struggle to clearly hear wave scores and stay updated on the progress of the heat. As a surfing enthusiast (albeit a pretty kooky one) and an indie iOS developer and nerd, I thought this problem could be easily solved with an Apple Watch app. And here I am today, launching SurfBuddy! I’ve had to tackle some quite tricky technical challenges to provide proper real-time information on the Apple Watch, due to its technical limitations, not to mention that developing an app for the Apple Watch isn’t a smooth process at all 🥲 This is a pretty niche app. I know most of you might not care much about surfing, especially the competitive aspect. However, I hope you appreciate seeing a different product here. Looking forward to your feedback! Cheers! 😙
