SVG Crop

Hey peeps! As a frontend developer, I often find myself sifting through various SVG icon sets online, downloading the ones I like, and using them in my web projects. Often times, these SVGs come with an unpredictable and arbitrary amount of "baked-in" white space. This can make aligning the SVGs in layouts difficult, especially in responsive layouts. Previously, I had to fire up a tool like Illustrator or Inkscape to manually crop the SVG to its contents and re-export. What this tool does is remove any width or height attributes and then adjusts the viewBox attribute based on the actual contents (path, rect, etc.) of the SVG. It essentially mimics the functionality of "crop contents to canvas" seen in many design GUIs. The result of the transformation can be previewed instantly on a white or black background to make sure it looks how you intend it to before downloading. This tool has support for multiple SVGs.
