I'm Shane and I built Tacer - one click job application tracker!

🎯 Why I built Tacer:
As a college student who applied to 300+ jobs the past couple recruiting cycle, I found updating spreadsheets to track applications to be exponentially tedious and time-consuming. So, I built Tacer to help job seekers focus on applying rather than managing spreadsheets!

⚡️ What Tacer does in one click:
- We log your job applications to a custom google sheets for you
- Keep track and update application status automatically (on google sheets and popup)

🚫 With Tacer, there are no more:
- Manual entry + update to your excel/sheets

We also show your current application stats in a bar graph for easier visual grasp on your current status.

💡 Important Note: You'll see a Google security warning during login because Google requires a $540 verification fee for apps that need email access (which Tacer needs for automated updates). As a student developer, I can't afford this verification fee yet. However, I've verified the code's security via Fluid Attacks (0 vulnerabilities when tested locally). While the code should be safe to use, please note that it hasn't been officially verified by Google yet - the decision to proceed is up to you! If anyone's feeling generous and wants to help with the verification fee, my DMs are open! 😉 Happy to discuss the code implementation with anyone if interested!
