Today, my team and I are thrilled to launch TAGS! Instant purchasing has always been one of the great promises of the digital age. If the notion of instant and ubiquitous checkouts has been part of that promise from the start, why haven't they happened yet? We experimented with purchase coordinates years ago, but we needed to think bigger.
What if instead of trying to get the world to your store, the world became the store? That is the promise of TAGS. No websites. No landing pages. No downloads. No hardware. Just commerce—pure, unmediated, instant, and dispersed. A “buy” button for everywhere.
Starting today, brands, creators, influencers, and agencies can place Tags on any format of media (social, video, live streaming, print, IRL and more) and drive instant conversions instead of impressions. Generate Tags for your Shopify products, or add products natively to our headless commerce platform “Kiosk” - and start monetizing everywhere.
Soon, we’ll be launching our “Affiliates” and “Dropshop” capabilities that automate affiliate acquisition and then enable those affiliates to sell any product, from any website, on any format of content—and get paid commissions on those sales, automatically. Conversions are generated by authentic forces pushing outwards, instead of paid impressions pushing inwards.
TAGS is also launching its first website integration “Save for Later”. Not ready to buy? Sellers can place “Save for Later” on product pages and capture top-of-funnel purchase intent. Each customer who wasn’t quite ready to buy will receive a text message with a Link Tag enabling them to buy with one click. Think of Save for Later as a global wish list with instant conversions built right in.
The promise of TAGS is to pollinate the world with millions of purchase points, like transactional barcodes. And because Tags are not tethered to any physical or digital point of sale, the world becomes the store. TAGS are the Wi-Fi of commerce. It's a new layer of transactional potential that decentralizes, democratizes and empowers the entrepreneurial generations ahead.

Any thoughts on implementing some kind of leaderboard or list of top products that are being sold so when you roll out the affiliates feature people can cross promote?
