Hey everyone π My name is Tony and I'm the creator of a website called DevDojo.
Today, I want to introduce to you Tails V2 π¨βπ¨ π€
Tails is a TailwindCSS design tool, site creator, and component library all-in-one! I am excited to announce the release of this new version along with many new features β¨
Here is a breakdown of many of the top-level features introduced in this new version.
π New Interface - Tails V2 has been rebuilt from the ground up with a new and intuitive interface. It looks pretty sleek.
π¦ TailwindCSS JIT - Tails V2 will use the TailwindCSS JIT engine to compile dynamic styles and compile them for use in your project.
π Projects - In this version you can create projects and add multiple pages to it.
πΎ Save Designs - You will now be able to save your page designs and come back to edit them later.
π¨βπ» Code Editor - Edit any of your designs in the built-in code editor.
π Responsive Viewer - New responsive tools to help you build your Tailwind designs.
βοΈ Site Generator - Each project generates a static TailwindCSS site.
π Deployments - Deploy your static sites to S3, Github Pages, Vercel, Cloudflare Pages, and more.
π¨ New Templates - We'll also have a ton of new templates that will be released with the new version.
In addition to releasing new templates, we'll also be releasing full site templates for you to use as a starting point for your next project. You can think of it kind of like Webflow, but for TailwindCSS designers and developers π
I'm happy to finally get this new version out there and share it with all of you.
Please leave any feedback/comments/suggestions in the comments below.
I'll be around answering questions and comments for the next 24-48 hours.
Thank you all! π
Hi Tony,
Is the "PH33OFF" already applied to the reduced cost of the Tails Pro version (reduced from $39/mo to $15/mo)? Or is the discount code an additional discount to the already-reduced monthly fee (from $15/mo to $10.50/mo)?
@yucelfaruksahan Glad to hear man! Thanks for your support, we have so many awesome plans for the future of this product π
Thanks again!

Congratulations on the launch, been excited for v2 since you started teasing it. π
Amazing to see what Tails have grown into starting from humble free open-source components and now an online editor with site generation and deployments.
Fantastic work by team at @thedevdojo! π₯
@thedevdojo@thinkverse Thanks Kim,
I know, right. It started off as a small project and kind of snow-balled into a full site creator π. Thanks for all your help in the community and on the website. We appreciate you π

Congratulations on the v2 launch.
I am using pro tails. It seems promising. Though I left some bug report and suggestions in official site. I hope they gets apply for better user experiences.
Few I still do remember:
1. Allowing user able to adjust each window resize and position.
2. Drag and drop every elements using mouse. Only full sections movement possible for now through fixed bottom arrow. Up down.
3. Copy pasting styles from one element to another and deleting elements from cursor context menu.
4. [bug] Copying html from code editor and right away clicking on any text elements on visual editor duplicates that element.
5. [bug] Browser memory becomes full in chrome and crashes.
There 3 / 4 more which I do not recall but I did sent in your bug / suggestion reporting. I hope it reached them to you.
@tuhinbhuiyan Thanks man! We'll be going through the bug reports list and tackling these one by one. We'll probably be in touch in the next couple days or so and keep you posted.
Thanks so much for the feedback :)
I used Tails V1 in the past and I was impressed with how easy it makes it to create websites with TailwindCSS.
Itβs especially useful for someone like me with 0 design skills!
Good job!
