Hello Product Hunt, I’m Felix the creator of ThreadStart 👋
ThreadStart makes it effortless to write threads on Twitter. It features a rich thread editor that works like your favorite text editor. A painless alternative to writing them on Twitter.
Thread Editor 2.0
The editor helps you:
👁🗨 format your tweets
🖼 add & move media between tweets
✂ convert your long texts quickly into a thread
🔶 create lists in your tweets
🔢 number the tweets of your thread
⏰ schedule it at the best possible time
🌎 give it a boost for your audience in different regions
💰 plug your products once you go viral
All of that is just the rich thread editor. ThreadStart also brings a second editor, made to quickly schedule single tweets, to the table. This “Quick Scheduling” editor helps you fill your queue, so you have content lined up for the whole week.
How it started
I started one year ago when I was looking for an idea for a small project. At the same time, I needed a way to save my thread drafts. Twitter only allows saving draft tweets. Additionally, I wanted to be able to schedule them. Also something Twitter reserves for tweets. So, I got working on this thread maker idea. I shipped fast and thanks to the incredible feedback I received, it quickly became bigger and bigger.
It’s now a full Twitter scheduling SaaS with two separate editors. One for threads and another one for quickly scheduling lots of single tweets. Additionally, ThreadStart tracks the performance of your tweets. So its analytics can tell you how well each tweet does with your audience.
Built for content creators
It started from a personal need but it really is built for content creators all over on Twitter. A tool to help them tell their stories, work on their personal brand and assist their projects. It’s wonderful to see members of the build in public community, newsletter creators, developers and podcasters using ThreadStart to help them earn a living as a creator ❤
Schedule threads for free
ThreadStart comes with a free plan! So you can write, save & schedule threads for free as well. The paid plans add additional tools for creators with more needs, but for a lot of users, the free plan is sufficient already.
What makes ThreadStart different?
The rich thread editor is unique. You don’t have to learn shortcodes or guess where tweets end. Instead, ThreadStart’s thread editor shows you all of that directly inside the editor. You can move your images by dragging them around. And see exactly what happens in the live updating preview.
Its two editors combine the power of threads with the necessity to consistently post content. Because we all know, those social networks are hungry beings.
I would love to hear your feedback and I'm happy to answer your questions! 😊

@fscholz I'm happy to see Threadstart here. Good luck with the launch Felix!
I've been a user of this product for more than a month now, I went from 1200 followers to 2700 with it. It helps you get consistent. The app is beautiful, no extra feature, just what you actually need to schedule tweets and/or threads!
I tried many products before Felix's one, so I can only support this launch as I'm a HAPPY paying customer :D
@arnaud_belinga1 threads are super engaging! Audiences can get totally emersed in threads andalso makes for great repost content. Very cool to see how your numbers went up!!

Love Twitter tools, keep em coming! I’m currently building a Twitter game that turns your account into trivia. Could you play a game and give me feedback on what you think? Its called Utter and on my maker account.
Twitter threads are really powerful, but difficult and pain in the a#$ to create. Thanks @fscholz for building this product, and @__tosh for sharing this. Know a few intellectual heads who would love this. Will share!
@__tosh@rachit_bhatt1 thanks so much, Rachit! 🙌 Yes, they really are and I'm trying to fix this with ThreadStart. I really appreciate the support!

Congrats on the launch, Felix!
ThreadStart is such a powerful tool that you'd think an entire team is behind it. But the fact that it's built by an indie maker, is absolutely amazing!
@balazsi_robert Aww, you're too kind Robert! I hope it'll eventually be a team behind it 💪

I've used ThreadStart and it's a great way to focus on your tweet schedule and nothing else, unlike many other bloated social media scheduling tools like Buffer.
It's a feature-rich product which does a fantastic job particularly at helping you visualize what your threads are going to look like as a final product on Twitter.
Worth every penny!
And Felix is a nice guy too :)
