Hi, I'm Max, I'm one of the founders of Ting, let's discuss direct democracy.
Kirill Guzenko
There are so many problems with representative democracy: heavy dependence on individual personalities in government, especially when it comes to global issues; detachment of representatives: loss of connection with the reality of ordinary people; corruption, nepotism as a consequence of lack of transparency in executive structures and many more. This is why we are developing a platform where you can organize rigging-resistant and tamper-proof communities (Tings) to start initiatives, discuss and vote. Ting is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) run by the organization members and united by a particular purpose, which is achieved by crowdsourced opinions, ideas, and other members' resources, controlled through voting. There are some features in Ting's core: open and transparent secret ballot based on decentralized systems and cardinal votings (e.g., NPS, 0 to 10 polls) that much better represent society and are free from many of the disadvantages of plural votings. Ting is a crowdfunded and crowdsourced open source free license project, so you are very welcome to join!

The 'More Info' button goes to Point-X.

@danielctuttle Yes, that's right. Ting is built on Point-X technology. Technically we have no questions, but there are a lot of questions about how such a project will be perceived by society.

@max_beard So where do we go to checkout Ting?
