Unnon

My co-founder and I have developed Unnon.

Unnon is centred in three ideas: openness (all chats are visible, like in a public square), understanding (all chats have real-time translation) and discovery (with the Monthly Chat you talk to new people every month). It's a new, unknown experience (hence the name, Unnon).

As a platform where anyone can see anything, it had to be safe. So Unnon automatically covers any image that contains nudity or extreme violence, and users can report any type of content. Reported content are automatically deleted after 24 hours.

Even Direct Chats on Unnon can be seen and followed by others, who can post reactions on it. And because Direct Chats can be seen by other users, they last up to 30 days only. It's a first experience of publicly interacting with someone, not a long-lasting private chat.

Most of all, Unnon is about conversations. You can't follow users on Unnon, you follow chats. You can't share the link of a specific message, you share the link of a chat. It's centred in the experience of conversations that can be seen and followed by anyone.
