Vector Ink is a fully responsive vector graphic design software originally released on Android, now available online as a web app. 💡 The Idea In a nutshell, Vector Ink was designed to be a simple and convenient vector design application that can be accessed from anywhere on any device and provide designers with cloud storage and smart design tools. ✅ The Features Built-in Virtual Stylus - Helpful when trying to draw on a touchscreen device without a physical stylus. Draw Tool - Makes it easy to draw on the canvas by providing stabilizers to smoothen your strokes. Path Builder Tool - aka the Shape Builder Tool, this tool makes it easy to cut and merge shapes together into a new shape. (you'll notice this is used a lot in the preview video 👆) Copy Tool - Creates copies of a shape around a point, horizontally, vertically, or in a grid. Pen Tool - Standard vector pen for creating paths and editing points. Convert strokes to paths Outline Text (text to path) Import Custom Fonts PNG & JPG Import & Export SVG Import & Export Export Selection as SVG And more... 📖 The Story Being a coder who does a lot of graphic design, I've found myself many times struggling to find the right vector design software. They were all either too pricy, too complicated, platform specific, or lacking in tools. I wanted to create a way of simplifying vector art for everyone, and make an online platform for designers to conveniently access and edit their SVG files online. On top of that I wanted to build something magically convenient and smart enough to handle the repetitive and complex tasks for someone inexperienced to the world of vector design.
