Hey everyone! 👋 I’m Alex, a 🇨🇦 Canadian living in 🇩🇪 Germany and a lifelong language learner. I aim to study my languages every day but often struggle to find time, especially when learning multiple languages at once. I also found having days where I don't learn anything over time can hurt my motivation to learn. That’s why I built Vocab of the Day—it sends me a new word each day, so I’m always exposed to something in my target language, even on busy days. As someone who loves languages, I just wanted to create something that makes learning a little easier. Here’s how it works: 📲 Daily push notifications with a new word 🎯 Choose your level: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced 📖 Example sentences for each word 🔄 Review past words and track progress 🧠 Learn passively across multiple languages Right now, it’s available in 🇪🇸 Spanish and 🇩🇪 German, but I’m planning to add more languages soon. @busmark_w_nika I'm hoping to add more romance languages next (French, Italian, Portuguese, Catalan) but want to figure out a way to generate the content more efficiently and add hundreds of languages! Would love to support lots of slightly more niche langauges like Basque and Esperanto ! Thank you for the support <3

Congrats on the launch @alex_cyphus !!! One of the biggest pieces in my German knowledge missing is vocab, so this is super helpful to chip away at learning on day at a time. This app makes it very convenient.

I’ve been using Vocab of the Day for a while and I love it! For me its really helpful to get a new word every day - the bite-sized chunks make learning more digestible and stick in my brain better!

Congratulations on the launch @alex_cyphus. Individual words are great. I reckon what would add value are lexical terms (Word combinations/ Collocations/ Phrases) as we tend to remember word usage through associations.
