7-day forecast, weather watches, warnings and advisories for any location in US (Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Guam included). Location is determined via GPS or manually entered ZIP code. Forecast is obtained from NOAA where it is refreshed hourly.
Wow, 2009? That feels like ancient history in the Android world 😂 major props for keeping it going this long.
@henry_turner2 Google Play forces you to either constantly update the app or drop it entirely. Although the app wasn't a financial success, I still use it as a learning project.
Love how light this app is — no 20MB of ads or bloated trackers just to see if it’s raining 👏.
@lexi_bethan It was under 500K before I included a Material Design 3 theme.
Super cool that it’s open source. It definitely feels way more trustworthy than your average weather app.
@gisla_night Thank you! With open-sourcing, I hoped to give the app a fresh push since monetization failed in any case.

Downloaded it for the nostalgia — takes me back to when every weather app wasn’t just a data-hungry monster.
@gregory_dower I think we should fight for the old times. How did we come to accept data-hungry monsters in the first place?
Material Design 3 looks sharp. The UI is clean, but the font might feel a bit squished on smaller screens?
